Social Media Advertising – Motion

Video 1:

This is my first video which focuses on the brand as a whole. Bringing in some of the brands products and lots of fun facts about the brand keeps the user interested in a fast pace, engaging video. I believed it was important I focused on the eco-friendliness of the brand. This allows users to help trust the brands ethics and be more likely to purchase the products, as it shows the impact they will have by trying them. Moreover, the hook of the first frame is enticing for the viewer as the drink mix powders enter one-by-one. It grabs the users attention within the first few seconds using eye-catching visuals. The whole video continues this fast pace and follows the consistency of the brands colour palette, typography, and logo. Therefore, the visuals match the brands style. Lastly, I’ve included a QR code on the last slide to visit the website, which is a CTA (call-to-action) and encourages engagement, whilst tying everything together to make a compelling video.

Video 2:

Moreover, this is the second video which focuses more on the flavours of some of the individual products. This allows us to really focus on part of what the brand has to offer, and it can intrigue the viewer into a particular product. Moreover, short form content is effective as “it gives users a quick insight into what your products do and what your business is all about. They allow you to make an instant impression on an audience”. (Figure 1) The hook of the first frame grabs the viewers attention as the drink mix powder is moving and alternating. This helps to highlight the product. I believe demonstrating the products in this way on the slides is aesthetically pleasing, continuing the use of the colour palette, typography and logo. I’ve also included a ‘Supports Sustainability’ banner at the bottom of the screen throughout, which provides the users with an incentive. Lastly, I’ve included the QR code on the last slide again to visit the website, which is my use of call-to-action to entice the viewer.
