Existing digital presences of participating organisations

This research is based on all The Ideas Fund projects in Hull, delving into and exploring their online presence. This helps us gather more information on them and how they communicate visually by identifying consistent themes, what’s effective, and gaps across different organisations. I’ve included visuals of several community websites, such as Butterflies, Sight Support, and Oasis, focusing on layout, colour, accessibility, and tone. I’ve also evaluated the design and communication strategies of other participating groups, identifying their strengths and different areas for improvement. Moreover, the social media research on Instagram examines how these organisations use imagery, captions, and engagement to further broaden their community reach. Collectively, these findings highlight varied but interlinked approaches to inclusivity, clarity, and visual identity across projects. Ultimately, this help us further understand how to represent the Participatory Collective’s aim to represent community collaboration effectively and efficiently.
